As artificial intelligence (AI) systems become increasingly embedded in everyday life—from smart home assistants to personalized advertising and autonomous vehicles—the collection, processing, and utilization of personal data have reached unprecedented scales. While these advancements promise efficiency, convenience, and innovation, they also pose profound challenges to one of the most fundamental rights in the digital era: privacy.
